I graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in 2004 and the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in 2020. I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
I have studied Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Integrated Energy Therapy, and also became certified as a Home Health Aide. I rely heavily on my sense of intuition in my work and I continue to take classes in hopes of giving my clients the best treatments possible.
I am a compassionate, fun-loving soul that really wants to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone I work with. I feel very blessed in my life and I have a strong desire to pass those blessings on.
I live in Fonda, NY with my husband and our three sons.
My Philosophy
Massage Therapy is so much more than a "nice back rub" to me. I was first drawn to the work because I knew I loved to work with my hands and I liked to take care of others. These remain true but my favorite parts of being a massage therapist now are my ability to use my full presence and intuition to connect with my clients so they feel safe and always heard. There is no greater gift to me then to see my clients go from completely stressed out and overwhelmed to slowly getting back into their body and heart, finding their calm space and leaving feeling lighter both physically and energetically.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to massage. Each session is unique and caters to your needs at that moment. I remind my clients "this time is all about you".
I truly believe that our physical and energetic bodies want to heal; it is their nature. Given the right tools, they are able to do so. Massage therapy is one such tool that is capable of quieting the mind, relaxing the body, and reconnecting you to your center so you can begin to access that innate healing.
Massage therapy is not just a job for me, it is a passion and it gives me purpose. I am beyond blessed to be of service in this unique way that truly encompasses mind, body, and spirit.
